Who can drive
Here's what you need.
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a Georgia driver's license
- Drive a 4-door car, 2015 or newer
- Pass a background check (we run it — HERide pays)
- Have a phone with iOS 15+ or Android 10+
- Be a woman driver (this is a rideshare for women, by women)

How much do drivers really make?
You keep 80% of every fare. Tips are all yours. Most full-time Atlanta drivers earn $900 to $1,600 a week. Weekend-only drivers usually earn $250 to $500.
When do I get paid?
Every week. Direct deposit lands every Tuesday. If you need cash sooner, you can cash out any day right in the app.
Do I need a special license?
A normal Georgia driver's license is enough for most rides. If you want to pick up at Atlanta's airport, we help you get the airport permit.
Can I use my own car?
Yes. It just has to be a 4-door, 2015 or newer, and insured. No car? We can point you to a rental partner.
What's the car check-up?
We take a quick look at your brakes, tires, seatbelts, and AC. Takes about 30 minutes. Georgia asks us to do it, and it also keeps riders safe.
Can I drive for HERide and Uber or Lyft at the same time?
Yes. A lot of drivers do. But most who try HERide say they don't miss the others.
What if a rider is unsafe or rude?
Tap the SOS button in the driver app, or use in-app support. Our team looks into every report within 24 hours. You can also block a rider so she never matches with you again.
