Who can drive
Here's what you need.
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a Georgia driver's license
- Drive a 4-door car, 2015 or newer
- Pass a background check (we run it — HERide pays)
- Have a phone with iOS 15+ or Android 10+
- Be a woman driver (this is a rideshare for women, by women)

How much do drivers really make?
You keep 80% of every fare, and tips are all yours. What you earn depends on when, where and how often you drive. You see the fare before you accept every ride.
When do I get paid?
Twice a week. Direct deposits go out every Monday and Wednesday to the bank account or debit card you connect in the app. Open Payouts in the driver app to see your next deposit day.
Do I need a special license?
A normal Georgia driver's license is enough for most rides. If you want to pick up at Atlanta's airport, we help you get the airport permit.
Can I use my own car?
Yes. It just has to be a 4-door, 2015 or newer, and insured. No car? We can point you to a rental partner.
What's the car check-up?
We take a quick look at your brakes, tires, seatbelts, and AC. Takes about 30 minutes. Georgia asks us to do it, and it also keeps riders safe.
Can I drive for HERide and Uber or Lyft at the same time?
Yes. A lot of drivers do. But most who try HERide say they don't miss the others.
What if a rider is unsafe or rude?
Tap the SOS button in the driver app, or use in-app support. Our team looks into every report within 24 hours. You can also block a rider so she never matches with you again.
